Treating Skin Rashes From Hot Tubs

Treating Skin Rashes From Hot Tubs

Exclusive Summary About Skin Rashes From Hot Tub by Tim Faber and Dee Cohen

Most of the common skin rashes originate from the chlorine from spa waters and hot tubs. While all of us may love to go for our indulgent sessions in a resort or spa it is a known fact that many hot tubs contain the harmful bacteria which causes these rashes.

What is the bacteria which causes this?

The skin rashes that typically happen from spas and hot tubs occur from a bacterium known as Pseudomonas Aeruginosa also abbreviated as PA. This bacteria is very nasty especially as it can bring about a host of other infections as well. Some of these infections include urinary tract infection, Swimmer's Ear, HotTub Lung syndrome and even Dermatitis.

If you are a spa owner and wish to prevent skin rashes from occurring in your customers then try the following:

  • Remove water from spa
  • Soak filter in chlorinated waters
  • Fill up water again till the jets
  • Use a chlorinating concentrate (4 times more than regular dose)
  • Circulate water for 3 hours or so
  • Use a cleaner for plumbing out any bio-film accumulation
  • Refill new water

Spa Treatments For Expecting Moms

Spa Treatments For Expecting Moms

Exclusive Summary About Hot Tubs and Pregnancy by Danielle Campbell

Pregnancy comes with a roller-coaster ride of emotions - the excitement of bringing a new life into the world, the fear of whether the new child will be born healthy, and the frustration over swollen feet and favorite clothes that no longer fit. With nine months' worth of body changes and hormones raging, it's natural for pregnant women to seek some form of relaxation. The spa is a logical place to go to find some body-calming peace. However, pregnant women need to be careful about which treatments they receive. Consequences range from nausea in the mother to induction of labor of the baby.

Ann Douglas, a Canadian author of 27 pregnancy and parenting books, says the most important way to have a good experience at a spa with "a bun in the oven" is to let the spa workers know that you are pregnant. This way, they can ensure that you don't undergo treatments that could harm the baby.

Hot Tub Safety - Are Hot Tubs Bad For Your Health

Exclusive Summary About hot Tubs and Pregnancy by Alan Kenyon

As inviting and innocuous-looking as your Jacuzzi or hot tub may seem, using it for therapeutic purposes will require more precaution than you probably expect. The first rule is: if there are potentially bothersome health issues, talk to your doctor. There are bodily conditions that warrant some amount of prudence.

Most doctors will probably agree that it isn’t advisable for pregnant women to take too hot a bath. Who knows what injury the unborn baby may sustain if the mother’s body has gotten too warm? Pathogens in the water pose an added danger. Forgoing the delights of a hot tub until after giving birth and healing is a wise option many pregnant women take.

Now as you can imagine, these small two person hot tubs go down a storm with people that have limited space, or simply do not see the need to have a great big traditional hot tub taking up half of their garden.

Also, another advantage of purchasing a smaller tub is the practicality of getting it into the garden. Price wise you can get a small tub very reasonably these days, from anywhere between $2000-$4000, which is not too bad when you consider how much you could be paying for a standard size tub.

Used Hot Tubs from a Dealer and a Private Owner

Used Hot Tubs from a Dealer and a Private Owner

Exclusive Summary About Used Hot Tubs by Jy Paralye

If you buy a used hot tub from a shop or a dealer, there are several advantages. Generally all pre-owned hot tubs are tested and inspected by a technician. Some hot tubs are even given a fresh coat of paint.

On a private basis, it is quite difficult to find used hot tubs, because even portable hot tubs are of a semi-permanent nature.
Even a used tub is a big expenditure and you should make a thorough examination of the hot tub by examining the shell for signs of damage. Make an experiment by filling the hot tub with
water, so that you can see the leaks, if there are any.

Hot Tubs - Purchasing Second Hand

Exclusive Summary About Used Hot Tubs by John E Lewis

If you look in the local papers or local advertisers like the Friday add you might find a used hot tub for sale.

Also the green view is one that is very much listened to by the hot tub industry resulting in much more ecological friendly Hot Tubs.

The latest hot tubs have superior ozone systems resulting in the use of much less chemicals.

A cracked or damaged shell of a hot tub can be very costly or impossible to repair. So one should carefully inspect the second hand hot tub shell closely for minute hairline stress cracks or perhaps gouges that may turn into cracks.

If you do buy a second hot tub you will not of course have the many advantages that come with buying a new unit but you should perhaps ask for a limited guarantee from the vendor and if buying from a second hand dealer in Hot Tubs then you certainly in my view should get a limited guarantee of some kind.

Second hand hot tubs tend to still command reasonably high prices even after allowing for their age.
